are nVidia drivers automatically installed?

I have just configured a new installation of Kubuntu 10.04.2
and am using a Nvidia GeForce PhysX HTMI video card
otherwise marked as a Asus 210 Silent 1 gb card with DDR3.

The card came with a Windows only CD.

Are the video drivers automatically installed when I do a clean install 
of the Kubuntu DVD?

How to I install the nVidia control panel?
