My computer goes off line at night so you might have run into that but on
the other hand when it is up and I test it times out too. On the other hand,
telnet journeytothestars.webhop.net 80 results in a connection but GET does
nothing.

How exactly do you propose that I change default? Why would that be better
than changing  journeytothestars? Both are read in as far as I can tell. The
setting say to read all the files in that dir and each one is a virtualhost.
