I don't know if it really helps or not, but I put the Flash-Aid plugin 
in Firefox and flash works.

Flash-Aid is supposed to make sure your Firefox has the most up-to-date 
version installed and if it doesn't it asks top install it.

In Firefox it's Tools > Add-ons and then search for Flash-Aid.
