Hi, the simplest way to install all the usual add ons for Kubuntu is
to run the following command:
sudo apt-get install kubuntu-restricted-extras
You can find a detailed list of the packages installed thereby on this
page: http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/kubuntu-restricted-extras
