Yes, I remember that. I had to mess around like that in the early days
of Linux. Now I expect to find Java working properly when I install a
new distro/version. What I should have said is that in future, if I
want to have Sun Java working, I will have to go back to the days of
such messing around. So I will stay where I am for as long as possible.
Sun have really let us down in my opinion.
