Grub2 of Kubuntu-12.04 and F17

Dos partition tables on multiple disks.

Grub2 of Kubuntu-12.04 cannot find Fedora 17 entries. It could handle
F16 entries on the same partition.
In F 17, grub.cfg is in /boot/grub2 , while a /boot/grub with a single
splash file is also present

Grub2 of F17 has no problems however in finding Kubuntu.
