Which s-video card

Hello,

I use my 2.4 GHz Compaq pc with Lubuntu 12.04 and a ati video card and tv-out to my tv.
The problem with Linux is that s-video doesn't work with ati radeon because there are no good drivers. It's a shame!
I must buy another videocard with tv out or going back to Windows. There it was no problem to get 100hz from my tv with s-video.
So if anyone can tell me how it can work with another videocard with s-video?
I sell my ati to a Windows user who can use it with no trouble.....
