After upgrading my kubuntu some of my drivers were lost. I can't get any drivers, because I can't get online. I also have vista on my computer and that is the one I have to use. How can I retrieve my driver for the internet if it won't let me get on the internet. If I try to go to an earlier date and time the black screen pops up asking for my password, after I put that in it ask for a lot of information that I do not know the answer for and therefore cannot enter it. What exactly can I do PLEASE.

Subject: Kubuntu 12.10 upgrade

I've now completed 2 upgrades to 12.10 and here are some problems I've
encountered:

1) Rebooting after the upgrade I get the error "the disk drive for /tmp is not
ready yet" press S to skip or M to manage. After a 2nd reboot this error
disappeared.

2) Can't change the system language. See
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=12308689.

3) One of the systems I've upgraded is a netbook which I'd removed k3b from as
it doesn't have an optical drive. Upgrading to 12.10 installs k3b again, if I
try to remove it I'm told it wants to remove some language packs.

4) The other is a laptop which is 64 bit and I noticed that a lot of the
packages it was upgrading were duplicated for i386 and AMD64.
