OK, so when either Firefox or Zotero uses the platform file picker
in Kubuntu, they are actually using the GTK FileChooser. Firefox just
somehow overrides default selection of "recently used" and picks the
last used directory. I've been able to hard code a Zotero build to
default to a specified directory but not to the last used directory.
