Latest updates for 12.10

Hello Nigel and Everybody.
In September, I added a ppa repo with a view to getting KDE Release Candidates 4.9.* - still along with Kubuntu 12.04. Apart from the problem with Kompozer, as explained recently in another thread,  the upgrade went quite smoothly in my case. This has probably to do with:
having the same version of KDE just before and after the upgrade;
haaving done a "fresh".install of Kubuntu 12.04 about one month before upgrading.
