Yes. I *completely* uninstalled it. That included checking explicitly that no
configuration files were left hanging around.

Permissions were fine. They are certainly fine now, since I let the
newly-installed k9copy generate a new configuration file.

You're right -- good suggestion; I got so fed up of it yesterday that I didn't
even think of that. I'll do that when I feel up to fighting some more with it.
