on Kubuntu 12.10, KDE 4.9.5. Updated Firefox to v18 yesterday only to find it refused to work online - and the "offline mode" box was not ticked. Trying to change status had no impact. Eventually I downgraded back to v.16 and everything works as expected again. Has anyone had problems or for that matter succesfully upgraded to v18?? kind regards Sinclair
