Digikam hangs on 14.04

At least Bruce Marshall reported the same problem here the other day
[1]. I'm not sure if it is a problem of digikam itself or the Kubuntu
packaging. If it is a genuine digikam problem I would report it to the
KDE people directly [2]. If it is a packaging problem, the right place
would be launchpad [3]. In the latter case, if you don't find an
existing bug report, you can submit a new bug with the command

ubuntu-bug digikam

in a terminal. That command would also collect additional information to
help the developers solve the problem.
