Welcome to Kubuntu Clyde. I'm just North of you in Colorado and started
with an IBM PC Jr running DOS. Thirty plus years later and at a frisky
78 year old I switched to ubuntu 6 or 7 years ago. I understand the
confusion you're going through but you need to know you will master this
operating system in due time. I have 4 computers going at this point,
three running Kubuntu and one running Windows 8.1 just for a proper balance.
Ubuntu is the BEST and you will, in time, be grateful that you switched.
