I have 3 pop accounts in Thunderbird and use 1 extension and it use
about 150 MB RAM. To me the biggest user of RAM is by far Firefox,
perhaps because I have quite a few extensions and normally 5 or so tabs
open.
4 Gb RAM is to me not "only"... I run Windows Server 2012 in Virtualbox
now and then and for sure, it aint fast but it works even though all my
normal linux applications are running.
Kind regards
