rsyslog not listen on socket udp 514

Did you also add a line like

$AllowedSender UDP, *.lan, 192.168.2.0/24

to the config file? I'm not sure if it is necessary, but I suppose so 
because my machine running the syslog server should not be restricted 
and I have such a line in the config file.
