Try clicking in _between_ two icons from the notitication area with right
button. This will bring up a menu showing an option "Notification Area
Options" or something --- sorry, my KDE is translated to portuguese ---,
where you can choose which icons will be available.
PS: Sorry also for HTML/wrong reply. It's gmail's fault, not mine.
