Doc,

The forums are linked to in community support from Kubuntu's own website
and can be found here: https://www.kubuntuforums.net/content.php

I was only trying to assist by pointing you to the existence of the help
forum which in my view is sometimes better than a user-self help mailing
list  ... if you see no reason to use it that is fine, or you see no
reason to use Kubuntu after the experience with the KDE upgrade, that is
also fine.  Sorry you found the recommendation to use the forums non
constructive for your ends.

The freedom of choice in distribution and how you support it using web
based resources is kind of the point of using GNU/Linux, so good luck
with your next distribution, there are many excellent choices.
