I beg to differ on the KDE4 never having recovered. The, in my opinion,
mistake is/was the whole Akonadi/Nepomuk issue. As to which my desktop
is stable since many versions and yes, I use Kontact/Kmail and so on. I
will personally stay away from Plasma5 until I find it stable,the same
way I hung on to KDE 3.5 when KDE4 was immature. But I see no reason to
revert to KDE 3.5 (Trinity)
