Ah, yes, you are correct.  And that's my blind spot as something that I had
not fully considered because my personal fleet far exceeds "5" systems.

Nevertheless, my opinion remains that Ray would see significant benefit
with upgrading to a modern version with the efficiency gains in the kernel
and improvements with Timeshift.  It's unfortunate he's on 32 bit because
that does necessitate a fresh install.  Given the age of his computer, I'd
recommend changing out his storage system if he hasn't done that within 2
or 3 years.

He should check the health of his storage with with smartctl.
