Suspend/Hibernate on a Toshiba Qosmio

Hi, if this is not the right place for this message please let me know.

I have a Toshiba Qosmio F15-AV201 (US, bought Mar 2005). For the most
part everything is working reasonably well except:

1. Suspsend to RAM doesn't seem to work at all after uncommenting it
in /etc/default/acpi-support. I can't quite tell if it even sleeps,
but it gets into a state where I have to hold the power button for 5
secs to power down.

2.It hibernates fine, but doesn't start back up all the way if X is
running with the nvidia driver. It displays what looks like it is
probably the garbage in video mem or something. (I also see this a lot
switching to and from X sessions.) With the nv driver resume works,
but the network doesn't. It complains about there not being a device.

3. As of monday last week when I updated, Sometimes it appears to go
into some kind of sleep mode, I have to switch to a VT, wait 5 seconds
and it will let me switch back to VT7. Its almost like it was trying
to sleep. (this just happend as I was writing this)

4. This laptop has some multimedia keys that generate acpi events,
but no x events.

Number 4 is obviously not that important. 3 is really annoying. 1
and 2 would definitely be nice to get working.

What steps could I take to try to get this working? Is there more
debugging I can do? Should I file bugs? (I know its late in this
release cycle)

Ben
