Hi,

I have another D810 than Somlyai Tamás.

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/DellLatitudeD810?highlight=%
28laptop%29%7C%28testin%29

So I will list some different specs.
(This information have been fetched from BIOS)

Intel P4 1.86GHz
1024MB 533MHz DDR2 SDRAM
60GB HD, DVD+/- RW
Video controller = ATI x600 (M24)
Video memory = 128MB
Panel type = 15.4" wide SXGA+ (native resolution 1680 by 1050)
Audio controller = Sigmatel 9751
MiniPCI Device = Intel wireless 2200bg

I don't have modem or bluetooth installed.

Did first try the Live CD....just to check if it worked.

Test results:

Sound = Working
GDM = Working (resolution was 1680x1050, perfect!)
Touchpad = extremely slow!!
"stick" = working as it should
Some language problems, English, Norwegian, Danish!!!
Network settings = eth0 and eth1 not configured
After configuring = eth0 working, eth1 (wireless) working (also FN+F2)
Mute on/off = working, both FN + buttons and sound buttons
External USB HD = found and shortcut on desktop
External USB mouse = working w/scroll

Didn't try out more....wanted to install...
