Problem with Ubuntu Live CD

Hello,
 I restart my laptop Compaq Armada 1530 (Pentium MMX 133MHz, 32MB RAM) 
with Ubuntu Live CD.
Boot parameter "live hw-detect/start_pcmcia=false".
The boot starting and after while in "unpacking 
nic-pcmcia-modules-2.6.10-5-386-di" makes loops until the laptop stop to 
working (freeze).

How to solve the problem?
The memory is enough or something else going wrong?
