HP NC4200 fails to boot after a restart

Martin,

I have some shutdown/restart issues, but can boot ok. Does this HP 
Laptop have a Serial-ATA disk do you know? See 
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/SonyVaioA497XP and in 
particular http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=16244 and see if 
they sound familiar...
