Don't ask me why! But IIRC when installing Ubuntu (nine months ago)
I wasn't asked for a swap partition. I left partitioning to the
installer and just wondered why it only created one partition ...

Just unsuspending ... I pressed the sleep button and after some
minutes I pressed a key.
