I would guess that if he wanted the output with a specific switch, he
would have asked.   The default lspci seeems pretty verbose in any
case.

it doesn't hurt to add it there.  We have two pretty different laptop
models, so it may or may not be the same problem.  But  a quick look
to your config file seems to indicate that it is the same problem (but
I'm not a developer)
