no longer working function keys

hi everyone
if one sad day  my function keys stop working, what package/s do i need
to file a bug against? teh 2 that are specificaly broken are screen
dim/brighten, and while i dont know what caused it (it just broke a week
ago perhaps), i would like to see it fixed :)
