Flight 7 and HP nc4200 broken install

Hi everybody!

I just tried to install flight 7 today on a HP nc4200 and found that I
could not install it.

1. To go from the install on disk to language selection took 1-2
minutes, which is a little much I think.

2. During the install my screen went blank only the mouse cursor was
visible the rest black. I could not change to another console as well.

Is it that flight 7 is a bit unstable and that I should try beta 2
instead?

Beta 1 installed just fine.
