Lenevo IBM R60-Ubuntu 6.06

I have problem with my laptop, IBM R60.
While I was installing Ubuntu 6.06 beta2, the screen had shutdown and 
hang-up.
After reset the screen show "Error loading operating system.".
What's happen and How do I do to solve this situation?
