about xgl and hibernation

hi, all

i had test xgl on a new laptop. i switch the Xorg and Xgl by those method:
sudo ln -sf /usr/bin/Xorg /etc/X11/X
sudo ln -sf /usr/bin/Xgl /etc/X11/X

when i switch back to Xorg from Xgl. i type "sudo ln -sf /usr/bin/Xorg
/etc/X11/X", and then ctrl-alt-backspace. the screen become black, and
can not auto restart X, so i press ctrl-alt-delete, the X appearred
for less one second(i can see the circle of the cursor). and system
goto reboot.
this i had test 3 times. same appearance.

also another problem is hibernation. when i click hiberanate, screen
black after a very short screensaver, harddisk led irregular flash,
and machine has no further action. power led always on.
perhaps this is associate with shutdown, when i halt the system,
screen immediatelly become black, and usplash interface never appear,
after some harddisk operate, system can poweroff.

anyone give some advise.
