Better LaptopTesting pages?

Some thoughts...

Daniel is of course totally right about the need/ usefulness of a much
better interface. There are some attempts to make a generic one for
Linux in general which would of course be much better.

http://www.phoronix.com/lch/ is one good looking one - but the license
is restrictive. Sadly there are lots of competing sites on this issue.
Hopefully the Linux Standards Base
http://www.linux-foundation.org/en/LSB can offer some advice - maybe
even help fund such a system.

As for the language, I'm of the opposite view to Jeff. Precisely
because I think that the system should be much broader. And PHP is
more widely supported for web projects. Also because I strongly
disagree that it should be tied to one frontend. It should be a
database driven XML based site so that any site can grab relevant info
from it (and send to it). Then any Linux hardware site can selectively
'grab' the XML feed from the site and 'wrap' it in their theme.

Anyway - I'd love to offer to help - but can't afford the time. I
would though love to hear what efforts are current.

the link they have to the report they wrote changed. This is why when
I last did a cleanup I only changed the navigation (I made those
manufacturer specific sections) not the file locations.
