Unable to Install Ubuntu on Dell Inspiron 17R2 [i7 64bit 2630QM]

I tried to install Ubuntu 11.10 (Same problem while installing Fedora 15) on Dell Inspiron 17R2 Laptop(Intel 64Bit i7 2630QM Quadracore)

Installation started, after selecting install it remained for ever with message:
"Waiting for hardware to initialize..."

I also  tried acpi= force noapic as kernel boot params. Still facing same problem.

Following is status/log:
1.it mounted /dev, pty, tmpfs, rootfs
2.running  /sbin/loader
   Detecting hardware...
   Waiting for hardware to initialize...

It kept on waiting forever.
