Hmm, *it is*? Are you saying that notifications for comments look
different depending on if they are added via the web UI or via email?
That is not true AFAIK, they look the same.

You do have a point here, some people like the new format, some don't,
it will be impossible to please all. I think though, that the ones that
like the new format, are more happy using an email client than a
browser. And the ones that liked the old format better, are more happy
using a browser than an email client. I wonder, if it would be a good
idea to improve the web UI, so that it would be easier for people to
keep track of bug changes via the web UI, instead of via email. For
example by providing an RSS feed or something like that.

(Well, it *is* of course a good idea, but I was thinking instead of
reverting to the old notification format.)
