The only mode that currently exists is a text output mode. I have a
patch for Atom output that may be useful. Would that help you? I could
be persuaded into putting effort into it.

This is a bug. Could you see if it's already reported, and if not,
report it and let me know of the bug number?

You can do this via the email interface.

There is an experimental XMLRPC interface. I suggest contacting Brad
(bradb.bollenbach at canonical.com) for details if you'd like to look into
this; I spoke to him on this subject today.

This is somewhat complicated. We validate the user by means of his email
address; you can of course POST the creation of the account, but he will
still need to reply to the Launchpad email.
