It's impolite to send the same person two copies of the same message, 
and if they weren't subscribed to the list, then their original 
messages would have been moderated, and rejected for being off-topic.

(Meanwhile, I'm trying to think of ways to reduce the number of people 
who think launchpad-users@ is an Ubuntu support list. Perhaps the text 
"This list is not about Ubuntu" in the relevant Launchpad pages.)
