Matthew,
I agree with Martin that it would work better if you replied to the
poster too. There are too many mailing lists on the internet to expect
people to remember different reply etiquette for each one. The standard
behaviour for contributing on this email list is for people to "reply to
all" to mail the list and "reply" to mail an individual privately. If
this behaviour should change, we should change the mailing list
configuration, rather than tell contributors to behave differently.
As a launchpad-users list admin, I hereby encourage people to use
"reply-to-all" on this list.
Please let's consider this the end of the "reply to all or not" thread.
