Thanks, that was quite interesting.  I hope Launchpad developers who
work on this will take it into account -- I think it's true that karma
in Launchpad is a bit of an experiment without a totally clear purpose.

Another comparison we might draw is to seniority markers as used on eBay
or phpBB, which are also trying to describe how much a user should be
trusted.
