Sorry that screenshot of mine was daft.

My major complaint is that the textarea just seems too small on my
1024x768 screen.

http://ubuntu.infogami.com/_edit/ is a much nicer interface.

After thinking about it, I guess you are right. People do have to
"markdown" their code blocks and most people are too lazy to do that.
