Actually this is not quite true.

Gnarly is no longer used and can be deleted from the dists tree.

But although there are no _functional_ dependencies on Arch things or
pybaz left, it is still needed for HCT to import. HCT itself is not
used, but a few modules import some utilities from there, and therefore
have an indirect dependency on pybaz.

The biggest user of HCT code is cscvs, that uses its "dirsums" module to
compare imported trees with foreign vcs checkouts. The issue will be
solved eventually by:

 * moving all the stuff needed by cscvs into cscvs proper
 * have other modules either import the utilities from cscvs, or get
their own copies of the needed utilities.

This has been on the todo list for a little while now, but I'm afraid it
fell through the cracks.
