Closing / deactivating your Launchpad account

Deactivating your Launchpad account
------------------------------------

 From time to time, people ask us to close their Launchpad account. 
Considering there are 1,229,180 registered Launchpad users, it actually 
happens quite rarely.

Now, if you want to deactivate your account you can do it from your 
profile pages.

There's a new guide on the help wiki that shows you how to do it and 
what information you lose by deactivating your account:

Of course, we'd much rather not lose you as a user :) If you do want to 
deactivate your account, mail or ping me (mrevell in #launchpad on 
Freenode) if you want to chat about it first.
