Edge redirects were enabled for a 24-hour period, which should cater
well to people on all timezones <wink>

It will; this was a preview to understand how well edge would fair under
normal load. Once we've gone over the access logs we will probably turn
it on more permanently. This is likely to happen after next Wednesday,
when the next rollout is scheduled.
