being unnecessary.

I reported a couple of other bugs I noticed in the bug tracker pages,
too. So thanks for bringing these pages to my attention. :-)

Normally it's better for a hint to go underneath the form field. It
didn't work well here because the form fields were too confusing
altogether. I think the solution is to fix the fields, rather than to
move the hints.

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you saying that you want to be notified
when a project in Launchpad is associated with a previously-registered
bug tracker? If so, what would you use those notifications for?

In the real world Debian may be upstream for Ubuntu, but in Launchpad
it isn't. This confusion will be resolved eventually.
