problems commiting branch

It looks like you have a branch bound to a http://bazaar.launchpad.net/
url (did you type bzr co lp:something ?).  That won't work, you'll need
to bzr bind your branch to a url something like
sftp://user@bazaar.launchpad.net/~user/project/branch).  Or, if you
didn't mean to get yourself a bound branch, just 'bzr unbind'.
