KDE files in launchpad

Hi all
I am the coordinator of the Greek l10n KDE Team, so I do not know much about
gnome, ubuntu, launchpad etc. So be kind :)
I have recently wondered about the status of the KDE files in launchpad,
looking at this page:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/gutsy/%2Blang/el/%2Bindex?batch=1338
(currently anavailable ?)
In this page it reads about ksmserver.po (just a random file):
21 messages - 7 untranslated
while KDE stats are
stable KDE branch - 14 messages - 0 untranslated
KDE4 branch - 19 messages - 0 untranslated
Since I can't figure out where this file came from, I thought you could
explain...
How do KDE files (pot/po) get imported into launchpad?
Which branch of KDE SVN do they come from (stable/KDE4)?
How do they get updated and how often?
Do po files get merged with the changes done to pot files in KDE SVN?
I was told by the people at ubuntu-gr that "gutsy" (next ubuntu relese) will
come with KDE 3.5.7, but they were uncertain about my other question... Is
this correct?
I would like to understand this procedure, in order to confirm the status of
the translation in kubuntu for the Greek language (hopefully other languages
will benefit from this)
Thank you in advance for your answers

Spiros
