Launchpad down-time 27 March 2007

Launchpad unavailable between 20:30 and 21:00 UTC today

You may have noticed that Launchpad was unavailable for roughly 30
minutes, earlier this evening. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this
caused.

One of our servers experienced a kernel problem, which took Launchpad
offline. I'm pleased to say, though, that your data is safe.

We consider any Launchpad down-time to be unacceptable and are
investigating exactly what happened. We'll learn from the experience,
which will help us ensure this particular problem doesn't occur again.
