I almost never mark my own bugs from apport as duplicates. I'm not going
to read all the attached files to see if the relevant bits are the same
- that a job for a computer! I always find what I think is a duplicate
and add a comment to my bug that it's probably a duplicate of #nnnnnn.
That kind of thing would be a good place to start for automated bug
comparison.
