One of the thing which I find inconvenient sometimes when interacting
with people on Launchpad is a lack of understanding of the distinction
between what Launchpad calls "Display Name" and "Name".

I think this is partly caused by the fact that the terminology used by
Launchpad is confusing, but my understanding is that the former should
be a person's real name, and the latter their handle or nickname.

Generally I see quite a lot of the other way round, or people who don't
use their real name at all on their Launchpad details. This bothers me
in two ways:

1. When searching for people by name, I can't find them.
2. When interacting with people on bug reports, I like to know their
real name :)

Potentially this might be solved by improving the terminology that
Launchpad uses on the details page and maybe inserting some information
in the "how to register" wizard or wiki page. But I think there might be
some value in including this in an etiquette document, if others agree
with me.
