Announcement: Bug and Spec Retargeting Underway

Greetings,

This is a quick note to let you know that Launchpad will be implementing
a more formal release cycle process is the near future.  

In preparation for this, major spec and bug gardening is underway by
myself (jjs) and Diogo Matsubara. Undoubtedly, subscribers to the
affected items will receive many emails as we do housecleaning.  

We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.

The major changes you will see will be: 

 * The current development focus will now be called 1.1 (instead of
main, trunk, etc.)

 * There are new milestones. Future is no longer a valid milestone.

 * The 1.0 milestone is now closed.

We're excited about the new release cycle process and hope you will be
as well.
