Source imports are not related (yet) with Translations in Launchpad so
you don't need to get it running to get translations imported.
If you want to start again using Launchpad for translations, just go to
your imported template on
https://translations.launchpad.net/taskcoach/trunk/+pots/taskcoach click
over 'upload a file' and upload updated .pot files and any .po file
updated outside Launchpad and translators will be able to resume
translation work there.

We don't have yet a way to disable them.
