Problem with the upgrade process from feisty to gutsy

Hi,

I hope I have the correct list for describing my upgrade experience.

I tried using the upgrade tool as suggested on the kubuntu web site.

The first time I tried, the Distribution Upgrade wizard froze at "installing
the upgrade" step, when setting up "libcaca0".  If it helps, I had pressed
the show console button a few times.

I had to reboot and use dkpg --configure -a, as suggested by aptitude.

I was able to return to kde, and wanted to finish the installation process,
so I went back to Adept Manager and pressed the "version upgrade:" button
again. The Upgrade tool crashed, and a dialog poped up saying I could report
the bug at
https://launchpad.net/disrtos/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+filebug. But
this page cannot be found. The page mentions Errror ID: OOPS-675B1823.

I have attached my /var/log/dist-upgrade/apt.log and
/var/log/dist-upgrade/main.log

In the meantime, I think I have a semi-updated system. Can I use Adept
Updater to finish the upgrade ?

Here are a few hints on my configuration:

I have a dell Inspiron 9300, and a nVidia 6800 Go, with the latest nVidia
drivers (as installed by NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.19-pkg1.run).
